INVESTMENTS & FAQs

Your wedding is not just an event.
It is a collection of emotions, people, fleeting moments, and memories that will quietly grow more valuable with time.
At Life In Frames, we believe photography and films are among the very few things that remain long after the celebrations are over. The laughter, the chaos, the hugs, the tears, the people who gathered for you — these moments deserve to be preserved with honesty and intention.
From the photographs that become part of your everyday life, to the films that bring your loved ones back into a moment years later — every frame carries meaning. That is why we approach every wedding with care, emotion, and a commitment to documenting your story as truthfully as it felt.
Below, you will find details about our offerings, process, investments, and answers to the questions couples often ask while planning their celebrations.

FAQs

What services do you offer?

We offer a complete wedding storytelling experience through thoughtfully crafted photography and filmmaking services. Our coverage includes candid moments, documentary-style storytelling, family portraits, couple portraits, decor and detail photography, as well as traditional videography captured with an elegant and timeless approach.

Alongside this, we create cinematic wedding films that preserve not just how your celebration looked, but how it truly felt.

What are your charges?

Every celebration is different, and so is the way it deserves to be documented. Our quotations are thoughtfully customised based on your events, locations, coverage requirements, and the scale of the team involved.

We take the time to understand your vision and expectations before curating a proposal that feels aligned with your celebration and the experience you are looking for.

Our wedding storytelling experiences generally begin from ₹2 Lakhs onwards and can go up to ₹5 Lakhs+ (approximately $ 2,500 – $ 6,000+) depending on the scale, deliverables, travel, and creative requirements involved. Every proposal is carefully tailored to suit the uniqueness of your celebration.

You are also welcome to choose Photography or Films independently, depending on the kind of experience you wish to create with us.

How much in advance do we need to book you?

As we take on a limited number of weddings each year to ensure a personalised experience for every couple, our dates tend to fill quickly. We would highly recommend reaching out to us as soon as you begin planning your celebration, ideally right after you say “yes.”

Who Will Be Documenting Our Wedding? Do You Work With Freelancers?

At Life In Frames, every wedding is documented by our in-house team of photographers and filmmakers who have grown together through years of experience, celebrations, and storytelling.

Over the years, we have built a strong creative team that understands not just our visual style, but also the emotions, pace, and responsibility that come with documenting weddings. While we occasionally collaborate with emerging creative artists for fresh perspectives, the core team leading and documenting your celebrations remains consistent and closely aligned with our approach.

This allows us to maintain the quality, emotion, and storytelling language that couples associate with Life In Frames.

How Big Is Your Team?

We are a passionate team of photographers, filmmakers, editors, drone pilots, and creative artists who work together closely to bring every wedding story to life with care and consistency.

At Life In Frames, our strength lies not just in the size of the team, but in the way we collaborate and understand each other’s creative rhythm while documenting celebrations.

While we are fully equipped to manage multiple weddings simultaneously, we consciously prefer dedicating our maximum creative attention, energy, and resources to each wedding we take on. This allows us to remain emotionally present, detail-oriented, and deeply connected to the stories we are documenting.

Where Are You Based? Do You Travel for Weddings?

Life In Frames is based across Mumbai, Gurugram, Indore, and Gwalior, while documenting weddings and celebrations across India and around the world.

We genuinely love travelling for stories and experiencing the uniqueness every culture, family, and celebration brings with it. Every wedding carries its own atmosphere, traditions, emotions, and energy — and that is what inspires the way we document it.

Whether your celebration is intimate or grand, local or destination-based, share your vision with us and we will thoughtfully curate a documentation experience tailored to your events, locations, and requirements.

How Many Pictures Will We Receive?

We believe your memories should reach you thoughtfully, not rushed — while still giving you beautiful moments to relive and share almost immediately.

Within the same evening of your celebration, we share a small set of edited preview images for announcements, sharing with loved ones, changing display pictures, and simply soaking in the excitement of the day.

For a typical two-day wedding celebration, you can expect an initial curated gallery of key edited moments within the first few weeks. This includes couple portraits, family portraits, emotional moments, details, and the essence of your celebrations.

The complete wedding gallery is then delivered event-wise over the following weeks, allowing you to revisit every ceremony, emotion, interaction, and little in-between moment with ease. Depending on the scale and duration of the wedding, couples generally receive between 2500–4000 carefully curated photographs, including edited highlights and naturally documented moments from across the celebrations.

How Do You Photograph Weddings?

At Life In Frames, we approach weddings with honesty, emotion, and observation. Rather than overly directing moments, we focus on documenting celebrations as they naturally unfold — preserving the energy, people, emotions, and atmosphere exactly as they felt.

Family remains at the heart of every wedding story. From quiet in-between moments to loud joyful celebrations, we pay close attention to the connections you share with the people who matter most. Alongside candid storytelling, we also create timeless family portraits, couple portraits, and thoughtfully composed frames that feel elegant yet personal.

Our goal is not just to photograph how your wedding looked, but to preserve how it truly felt — so years later, every image still carries the warmth, emotion, and presence of those moments.

Do You Make Wedding Albums?

Yes — we believe wedding albums are one of the most meaningful ways to preserve your memories for generations to come.

At Life In Frames, every album is thoughtfully designed in-house with attention to storytelling, aesthetics, and emotional flow. Once you shortlist your favourite photographs, our team carefully curates the layout to create an album that feels timeless and deeply personal.

We offer a wide variety of album experiences — from elegant coffee table books to larger-than-life memory books crafted to become family keepsakes for years ahead. Every album is beautifully curated in collaboration with All About Memories, using premium materials and refined finishes such as Italian Suede, Vegan Leather, Linen, and more.

Sample swatches, cover options, and finishes are shared during the selection process, allowing you to personalise every detail of your memory book.

We’re Awkward in Front of the Camera. How Do We Still Get Good Photographs?

Most of the couples you see on our website are not professional models — in fact, for many of them, their wedding was the very first time being photographed so closely. Feeling camera-conscious, awkward, or unsure is completely natural.

At Life In Frames, our approach is designed to make you feel comfortable before anything else. We do not believe in forcing stiff poses or making you “perform” for the camera. Instead, we focus on creating an atmosphere where you can simply be yourselves.

Through conversations, movement, natural interactions, and small moments together, couples gradually stop thinking about the camera and start enjoying the experience. Our direction is always gentle and adaptive — some couples need more guidance, while others naturally flow into the moment, and we shape our approach accordingly.

The most meaningful photographs are rarely about perfect posing. They come from genuine emotions, comfort, connection, and the way you naturally look at each other when you forget the camera is even there.

During our conversations before the wedding, we are always happy to understand your comfort levels, concerns, and preferences so we can create an experience that feels relaxed, enjoyable, and true to you.

What Is the Difference Between Wedding Films & Traditional Videos?

Wedding Films and Traditional Videos both preserve your celebrations, but they differ greatly in the way the story is captured and experienced.

Wedding Films are cinematic, emotional, and story-driven. They focus on how your wedding felt — the emotions, energy, people, speeches, reactions, and little in-between moments that make your celebration unique. Carefully edited with music, sound design, and storytelling, wedding films are created to feel timeless and immersive, almost like reliving the day through a beautifully crafted movie. Wedding teasers are usually shorter highlight edits, while full films offer a more complete emotional journey of the celebrations.

Traditional Videos, on the other hand, focus on documenting events in a more detailed and chronological manner. Their purpose is to comprehensively cover rituals, ceremonies, family interactions, and important moments exactly as they happened. These edits are usually longer, minimally stylised, and designed to preserve the complete flow of the wedding day.

In simple words — wedding films are about storytelling and emotion, while traditional videos are about complete documentation and archival memories.

How soon will we get our film?

The sooner you book with us, the more thoughtfully we are able to plan and prioritise your storytelling journey. Since we take on a limited number of weddings each year, delivery timelines are carefully estimated during the booking process itself.

Couples who reserve their dates well in advance often receive higher post-production priority. For weddings booked nearly a year ahead, films are typically delivered within 4–8 weeks. Bookings made closer to the wedding date, usually within 3–6 months prior, may expect delivery timelines of approximately 3–6 months.

We also offer same day or same week edits upon request. No matter the timeline, every film is crafted with care, intention, and attention to detail — because we believe these memories deserve to last for generations.

Do you offer same-day edits?

Although we do offer Same-Day Edits, it is not something we generally recommend, as a hurried creative process can sometimes take away from the soul and depth of your wedding film.

Same-day edits also involve additional costing, as they require a dedicated on-site team, editors working through the day and night, specialised setups, and continuous coordination to craft and deliver a beautiful cinematic experience within just a few hours.

These edits are usually prepared to be showcased on the evening of your wedding celebration itself, allowing you and your loved ones to relive the emotions of the day together while enjoying dinner and the celebrations. When planned thoughtfully, it becomes a truly unforgettable experience for everyone present.

Can we hire videographer or photographer along with LIF?

We generally do not recommend working alongside multiple external photography or filmmaking teams during the wedding celebration.

At Life In Frames, our approach is deeply candid and unobtrusive. We believe in capturing emotions as they naturally unfold, without excessive scripting, repeated retakes, harsh lighting setups, or making you constantly conscious of the camera’s presence. When too many teams are involved, the atmosphere can often start feeling staged and overwhelming for the couple as well as the guests.

For intimate celebrations especially, we prefer maintaining a balanced and minimal crew presence, usually limiting the overall photography and filmmaking setup to a thoughtfully managed team size. This allows us to preserve the authenticity, comfort, and emotional flow of your wedding while ensuring you receive a more refined and immersive final experience.

Can you create original music for us?

Yes, we do offer original music compositions crafted exclusively for select stories and wedding films.

While we often work with beautifully curated music from across the industry — hidden gems that feel fresh to the ears and leave a lasting emotional impact — there is something truly special about creating an original piece designed entirely around your story.

Original compositions bring a unique charm and emotional identity to your film, making the experience even more personal and timeless. However, since the process involves dedicated composers, lyricists, musicians, vocalists, studio production, and multiple creative stages, it also comes with additional creative costing.

When done thoughtfully, original music transforms your wedding film into something that feels deeply and exclusively yours.

Can you create a memory like this even if I’m not getting married?

Absolutely. We believe some of life’s most meaningful stories exist far beyond weddings.

Whether it’s celebrating a milestone, documenting a journey, honouring family bonds, welcoming a new beginning, capturing a personal achievement, or simply preserving a phase of life you never want to forget — every emotion deserves to be remembered beautifully.

If there is a story that truly matters to you, we would love to hear it. And if we feel a meaningful connection with your vision, we will do our utmost to tell it in the most honest, cinematic, and timeless way possible.

For the moments that pass in a heartbeat, but stay for a lifetime.
